The Perfect Invitation

There is nothing better around this time of year than “catching” the football craze with good ole celebratory pregame tailgating. Fall is the perfect culmination of football, holidays and traditions! An opportune time to gather friends around a cooler with sandwiches and cider, or even under a tent with grills, lights, decorations and sound systems.  Perhaps the arena parking lot is not the scene for your traditional tailgating.  Hosting a crowd in the comfort of your home around the big screen, displaying your favorite team jerseys & devouring that award winning cheese dip is my idea of a great place to party.

Regardless of where you tailgate, and before you begin looking for those award winning recipes, rallying your friends and neighbors together with a special invite is essential.

The excitement begins when your guests open their mailbox and find your invitation. "We''re invited to a tailgating party!" Your invitation sets the tone for your occasion and provides the details of the celebration as well as what to expect at the party. When choosing your invitation, remember you already have a theme -- Football!

At The Fine LineMarket, a stationery studio in Eastern North Carolina, there is plenty of sport –themed, tailgating festivity invitations to choose from.  And not only are there invitations, but party accessories to compliment your gathering!

And just a little extra idea to end the party is to give a small prize, such as a team cap or banner, to one guest. You can do this by including a special raffle number with the invitations, choosing the winner at the end of the game.

A perfect invitation, food, party accessories and friends will make any tailgating affair one afternoon to remember!
