(Paula Deen) Snow Cream Recipe

It snowed here in East TN Thursday afternoon and we were able to enjoy a Snow Day on Friday since schools were cancelled! We had a blast sledding, having snowball fights, making snowmen and gathering fresh, clean snow to make Snow Cream!

I have seen several Snow Cream recipes floating around the web, but if you haven't already noticed, I love Paula Deen y'all, so I decided to go with hers!

Simply combine the following ingredients and serve immediately, cause it melts fast!

- 8 cups of clean snow
- 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

My boys had fun topping their Snow Cream with everything from chocolate syrup to sprinkles!

I actually gathered the snow and packed it in the freezer for a few days, until I had time to get to the store to buy the condensed milk. It was a fun little treat for the boys, long after the snow had melted away!

But the memories of the fun we had as a family together in the snow that day will never fade!
