Since yesterday was my anniversary, I never did get a chance to comment on Memorial Day.
I really don't want to let this special holiday go by without mentioning it but since it is technically over, I will keep this short and sweet!
Freedom is not free.
And usually someone has to die to establish it.
Just like the many brave men and women of this country who died so that we can live in a free nation, so Christ died to give us freedom from sin and death.
"It was for freedom that Christ set us free." (Galatians 5:1)
I pray that each one of you is free in Christ and that you will take the time to thank Him for what He did for you on the cross!
