Tonight was Little A's Christmas program at school!!!
He (red sweater with reindeer and trees) and his little buddy Hunter (train sweater-vest to his right with blond hair) did so well singing the songs and doing all the motions!
We were a little disappointed that we did not get to see them in all their glory as the Christmas goose (Little A) and the Christmas bull (Hunter) but apparently that was just an in-class activity!
In between the madness of Gigi being here, Christmas stuff and getting ready for the program, I did fit in a short workout at the Y!
Workout Routine for today---
-3o minutes at a fast pace on the elliptical
Spiritual Reflections for today---
"And lo, the Christmas bull was tied behind the stable!!!"
(a little inside joke for those of you who have seen The Unexpected Christmas)
Seriously though, what if there was NO Christmas.
What if Jesus did not follow through with God's plan of salvation?
What if God had not sent Jesus to rescue us?
How would your life be different?
Think about it.
As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins. (Ephesians 2:1)
What if the story ended there.
Prayer for today---
Lord, I praise you that you did send Jesus. I praise you that Jesus followed through with your plan. I thank you for not leaving us dead in our sin. Amen.
