{Family Fun}: 50 Ways to Make Fall Fabulous

I absolutely LOVE fall!!! Don't you?

Pumpkin patches, tailgate parties, apple orchards, cooler weather, the list goes on. There are so many fun things you can do together as a family, I thought that I would provide a few ideas for you. Enjoy! :)



1. Make Pumpkin Pancakes.

2. Display this cute Fall Subway Art {Free} Printable in your home.

3. Go apple picking.

4. Rake a pile of leaves and jump in them. Be sure to take pictures.

5. Bake Pumpkin Snickerdoodles.

6. Create a Thankful Tree.

7. Bob for apples.

8. Go on a hay-ride.

9. Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Acorn Cookies.

10. Drink a Pumpkin Spice Latte or Pumpkin Spice White Hot Chocolate (for you non-coffee drinkers like me).

11. Paint pumpkins or make Glitter Pumpkins.

12. Go on a nature walk.

13. Do Pumpkin Bowling and/or a pumpkin ring toss.

14. Try 6 New Ways to Tie A Scarf.

15. Carve pumpkins.

16. Have a picnic.

17. Make Pumpkin Pie Dip or Spiced Caramel Apple Dip.

18. Have Pumpkin Races.

19. Visit a pumpkin patch and read The Pumpkin Patch Parable.

20. Have a campout or go camping.

21. Make Handprint Owls.

22. Build Play Tee-Pees.

23. Go through a corn maze.

24. Make leaves out of construction paper (or scrapbook paper) and decorate a window with a fall scene.

25. Roast smores on a bonfire or make Campfire Cones.

26. Bake a Warm Apple Crisp or Apple Fritters.

27. Go to a baseball game and/or a football game.

28. Burn a fall candle.

29. Make Pumpkin Candles.

30. Create and hang a Fall Wreath.

31. Read a book by the fire.

32. Go fishing.

33. Make Spiced Cider Simmering Potpourri.

34. Take a trip to see the colors.

35. Visit a petting farm.

36. Fill a box full of corn kernels, bury treasures in it and let the kids dig for them.

37. Go on a Word Scavenger Hunt.

38. Make a Bird Feeder out of popsicle sticks.

39. Set up a screen outside and have backyard movie night.

40. Bake an apple pie and/or a pumpkin pie.

41. Eat candy corn.

42. Make a Pumpkin Gingerbread Trifle or Pumpkin Cheesecake Trifles.

43. Spray paint pine cones.

44. Ride bikes.

45. Buy a new pair of boots.

46. Make Pumpkin Flower Pots.

47. Paint your face.

48. Bake pumpkin bread (add chocolate chips).

49. Host or attend a tailgate or game-watching party.

50. Make Caramel Apple Bites.

Awesome list! As my kids get older, they still love many of the Fall activities you've mentioned, but in recent years we've also added haunted houses and hayrides to the list. We've checked out some of the best Haunted Houses in the PA area in pursuit of some scary fun!
