{Hope for the Home}: Free Printable...Come Thou Fount

I love a good inspirational printable, don't you?

I think it is so important to display God's word and other positive thoughts around our homes, so that we (and our family members) see them daily...allowing us to think on them, meditate on them, pray over them, filling our minds with truth every minute of every day...a strategic battle plan against the devil and his schemes, against the lies this world bombards us with every. single. day.

"Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you." {Philippians 4:8-9}




So when I found this lovely printable over at Jessica Sprague, I knew I had to share it with you. Download it here.

Not only is it beautifully designed...but the words. Oh the words. "Come Thou Fount" just happens to be one of my favorite hymns of all-time. How can we not shout praises to a God who continues to (daily) pour out His overwhelming grace and mercy upon us? He is so good and his fountain of blessing is unlike anything this world has to offer.

We actually got to sing this hymn last night at the Danen Kane concert at our church. (Danen is an extremely talented up and coming worship leader. He has toured with the likes of Chris August, BarlowGirl, Leeland, Sara Groves and Shawn McDonald, to name a few. He happens to be a friend of ours. I just hope he remembers the little people when he is a famous artist, with big name acts opening for him. ;) Seriously though, check out his music here. You will not be disappointed.)

Danen's phenomenal voice coupled with those powerful lyrics and a room full of worshipers joining in... it was truly a glimpse of heaven for me. Now to find a place in our new home for this fabulous printable!
