25 Names of Jesus: {Day 10} Great Physician

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness.” Matthew 9:35

What a perfect name for me to focus on today, considering the fact that everyone in my house is sick!

Jesus is the Great Physician. Sickness and death have no power over Him. He has conquered the grave and has the power to heal any disease, whether mental, emotional or physical.

What we need to realize, however, is that sometimes we do not receive that complete healing until we are with Him in Heaven. It is at that time that we will be made perfect, whole.

It makes no sense to me why some people receive healing here on this earth while others are taken home to Heaven. All I know is that God's plan is perfect, better than we could ever imagine, and we must trust Him.
