“Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, streams
of living water will flow from within him.” John 7:38
The woman at the well came in search of water but instead, she found Jesus. Her joy was made complete, despite her circumstances. She immediately ran back to her town, leaving her water jar behind, telling everyone she encountered, "Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?"
You see, happiness is circumstantial. True joy is found in Christ alone. Will you let Him fill you up?
"Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water that I give him will never thirst. Indeed the water that I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." (John 4:13-14)
