“They all ate the same spiritual food and drank the same
spiritual drink; for they drank from the same spiritual rock that accompanied
them, and that rock was Christ.” 1 Corinthians 10:3-4
It is hard for my human mind to wrap itself around the fact that this scripture is referring to Moses and the Israelites when they were in the desert. And yet, Jesus was there with them! He has been and always will be, confirmed in John 1:1-3 and John 1:14 which tell us that He was with God in the beginning, that everything that was made was made through Him and that He became flesh and dwelt among us. We are also told in Matthew 24 that He will return. He is constant through all of time and eternity, the Rock of Ages.
