How Do you Fight Those Night Time Food Cravings?
We can all relate to food cravings! That intense gotta have something sweet or salty feeling that can literally make us go crazy as we down a whole bag of chips and ruin our hard earned perfect day of eating and exercise!!
Food cravings can be caused by several different factors!- Hormone Imbalances from lack of sleep, poor eating habits, medical issues, learned patterns and behaviors, etc..
- Not eating enough Fiber in your diet
- Dehydration
- Stress and emotional exhaustion
- Sleep Deprivation

Fun ideas that I have used:Put a sign up or goal picture that will make you reevaluate your choice. Put this sign in the fridge or in the pantry.Have a system in place. For example, Dance like a crazy person to your favorite song (yes, I have done this LOL), If you still really want something: eat a cucumber. It takes effort to peel, and a long time to crunch and eat. Next if you are still needing something have a hot cup of peppermint tea (sweetened with stevia). You get my drift, figure out what works for you!
Brush your teeth
Chew a piece of GumExercise, go for a walk, etc..
All of these suggestions are of course after you have eaten sufficiently for the day and know that eating more will go against what you are trying to accomplish.Preparation is key to success. Know your tendencies and plan so you can live fit, have flat abs, and feel good about yourself! I'm thinking of chaining myself to the bed but that would interfere with night time bathroom trips. Your ideas sound much better! :) Hopping from We Are That Family.
