25 Names of Jesus: {Day 6} Bright & Morning Star

“I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the bright Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16

Jesus tells us in John 8:12 that He is the "light of the world." And just like the bright morning star, which shines strong in the night sky before sunrise, the heavenly light of Christ pierces the darkness of this world.

In the same way, if we are followers of Jesus, we have the "light of life" within us (John 8:12) and we should be illuminating his love in a darkened world.
