Family Camp

We had an absolute BLAST at SLC Family Camp this past week!!

Not only was it great to spend a major amount of quality time as a family (especially since we have been apart for several weeks this summer), but it was equally great to get to know some of our new church family!

Camp was at Silver Burch Ranch in the North Woods and it was a fantastic facility!

Here are some of the cool things we got to do...

Other things we did:
-ping pong
-4 square
-board games
-family games
-worship (speaker Bill Cox was excellent, enjoyed hearing about marriage and family from a biblical perspective)
-playground (must have pushed the boys on the swings for hours!!)


Some of my favorite moments of the week...

-Big A leading worship
-Talking with Little A about what Jesus did for us on the cross
-Date night with Big A (horse back riding/hayride)
-Riding the hayride with Little A
-Game night with friends (4 square/boardgames/snacks)
-Singing and eating smores by the campfire with the boys
-Making new friends

Thanks SLC for giving us a warm welcome into your family! And a BIG thanks to all of the teenagers who helped out with my boys during the week!!

Looking foward to next year already!!
